Next Gen: We are sorry GAZA

This project was born from a shared emotional state: helplessness. While the people of Gaza are being erased, we sit miles away, paralyzed. We can’t reach them, can’t shield them, can’t change what’s happening. And this realization is crushing. But as artists, we are not entirely voiceless. We chose to channel our pain into what we know best — the visual. Through this collection, we attempt to turn our grief into art. Every piece in this project is a reflection of our guilt, our sadness, and our desperate longing to do something — anything — for the people of Gaza. This is our visual apology. This is our silent protest. This is our way of saying: we care, even if we cannot be there.

Miles away from us, our brothers, sisters, and neighbors are facing a brutal genocide.
We watch, helpless — not because we don’t care, but because the challenges are too great, the paths too blocked, and our hands too tied.
This helplessness has planted seeds of rage, sorrow, and depression deep within us.

As visual artists, we often struggle to express our emotions in words or actions.
But we do have one powerful voice — the image.
This project is not just a creative act; it is a silent scream, a visual cry of grief and solidarity.

It is our way of saying: we see you, we ache for you, and we are sorry.

This work is a visual documentation of our collective powerlessness — and our deepest apology to our people in Gaza.
